REFUND POLICY

Refunds at the request of athletes registered for a Max Performance race are not allowed.  This is agreed upon by all athletes during registration.

Changes in registration classifications will only be allowed if requested at least 3-weeks prior to race date.

Exchanges or transfers of race entry to other non-registered athletes are not permitted. Violators of this policy will be disqualified from the race at hand and will not be permitted to race at a Max Performance event for 2 years.

Transfers to another Max Performance race are only granted if the circumstances are determined to be extenuating.   Any requests must be received in writing 1 month prior to the race date.  A $40 race transfer fee applies if the transfer is granted.

Max Performance reserves the right to put a cap or limit on the number of racers allowed for each race. This determination is based on limitations and policies associated with local police guidelines, park rules, and road controls. Having both a safe and fun race is paramount to who we are and the promise we make to you.

Your registration & subsequent participation in Max Performance events grants us authorization to use your picture, feedback, & testimonials. Any pictures captured of you on race weekend, as well as information that you provide to race management, may be used for distribution, promotion, and publication purposes by Max Performance.

Race numbers, timing chips or any race materials, including goodie bags or awards will not be mailed for any reason. Winners must be present on race day to receive awards.

Races are rain or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race is canceled there will be no refunds. This position is consistent with USAT recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather, Acts of God, or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees. All fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration.
