Welcome
Race Registration Open for 2009!
Welcome,
Thank you for a very fun 2008 year!
We tried to make each race very safe, cool and a great experience. We’ll continue to raise the bar so it helps both you and us raise our games.
After all, isn’t that the essence of a triathlon lifestyle?
Key tidbits for 2008 also included:
- Over 1,000 first year triathletes used Max races as vehicles for furthering their commitment to fitness and to becoming a better triathlete.
- All races sold out to help ensure greater attention to a smaller # of participants, to enhanced safety protocols and to improved event planning.
- Huge first year race success at Sharon’s Back and Title 9.
- Swim clinics for athletes looking for more open water swim confidence.
- A substantial amount of funds raised for charities.
- In excess of 500 Sponsor Giveaways given to race attendees.
Your feedback is always welcome. We’ll be fine tuning courses and race details based on your input.
Some additional things to look forward to for 2009 include more grass roots charities and a designated Races Series with end of year Triclub and individual awards.
Thank you for your participation and confidence.

Sponsors and the local community are integral to race success. From venue permission to post-race goodies, they help to make it all happen. Max also selects local charitable partners to reciprocate generosity and good faith.

Max loves athletes courageous enough to become triathletes, since we were Newbies too. We welcome you to triathlons and we want your experiences to be great. One race certainly doesn’t make you seasoned, so we count your entire first year as a Newbie for our races. Here are some things we do to make your triathlon experiences rewarding...

Why would we commit to a series of races? So you know of a handful of great races you can count on. A point system serves as the basis for special awards based on a minimum of 3 races. We also use a rotating group of athletes to race the courses and use their time as benchmarks. It has worked really well in many other States and will in Boston too.
